My Journey

Matched Boutique was established in March 2020.

It was Lockdown & it was a bore for us all!

 Just like everyone else, i had way too much time on my hands & way too much time to think.

Time to think about what i was doing with my life and how i could make a change for the better.

Single mum to 3 boys with no help, no job and what it felt like - no hope! 

 I needed to find me! What made me happy? What could i do to make a better life for me and these boys of mine?

 After spending weeks over analyzing myself, I made a rash decision to start a business. In the middle of a crisis!

I had to think to myself 'if not now, then when'?

 With that I knew it was time I stop putting myself on the back burner!

For years I struggled to make use of my Fashion Degree with all the responsibilities and restraints of being a single mum but with all this new found free time and nowhere to go, it was time to make that change!

 I started by making and selling a few outfits & matching accessories to family and friends, just to test the waters. 
After a few months I had a steady flow of orders, lots of happy customers &great feedback. 

it was such a great feeling that my rash decision had paid off!
